Choose the Right Sharing Method
Your vCard works best when it is placed where people already expect to find your contact details. The same public link can be reused across digital and printed channels.
Use your vCard URL in WhatsApp, SMS, clinic appointment messages, email replies, and professional profiles.
Use the QR code where scanning is easier than typing: posters, clinic counters, conference slides, referral forms, and printed cards.
Add a short line such as "My digital card" and link it to your vCard. Keep the wording simple and professional.
An NFC card is useful during conferences, ward rounds, meetings, and networking events where a quick phone tap feels natural.
Keep the Destination Useful
Before sharing widely, make sure the card answers the practical questions a visitor is likely to have: who you are, what you do, where you practice, and how to contact you appropriately.
- Make your primary contact method obvious.
- Add clinic location if patients need to find you.
- Use a booking link if you already have an appointment system.
- Remove personal contact routes you do not want publicly visible.
Update Instead of Reprinting
The strongest advantage of a digital vCard is that your existing link and QR code can stay the same while your details change. Update the card when you change clinic, phone number, role, or preferred booking workflow.
